Certain Principles

Algebra, Pythagoras Theory, and all that stuff I never really liked.

As my mind wondered, I decided to look up the application to everyday life and saw for example, how I apply algebra in my morning schedule each day to measure the time I prepare for work- in the shower, making my coffee, commuting to work. I never understood why I had to take those in school anyways, I guess I must have missed out on their applicability when I was taught, or maybe I wasn’t.

It is equally amazing that we have to start learning calculus from basic arithmetic and how this can be applied to other areas of life. Typical is how we learn from high school to university and post-graduate level by taking appropriate courses at each level. How I have learned to handle things as an adolescent, youth, and now an adult. How I have to learn to be faithful with the little I’ve got so I can be trusted with more and how I am able to understand changes between values that are related by a function majorly time, after all, we say things like time heals all wound, time will tell.

Certainly, there are and will be things we might not completely understand but it doesn’t mean they aren’t real or valid. The absence of “something” doesn't imply that it isn’t around us.
